Department: FITNESS
Position: Group Fitness Instructor (Regular, Part-time)

“Pay range –Hourly Commensurate with Education and Experience”

Requires a flexible schedule based on business, client, and staffing demands. Evenings, Weekends & Holidays required.

Leads or conducts land or aqua based fitness classes, personal trainings, hikes, corporate stretches as set forth on our menu of services relative to the Fitness Program. Assists with the administration of the fitness department in areas of guest fitness training, coaching, and counseling. Responsible for maintaining inventories relative to the accomplishment of all fitness classes, inclusive of products and equipment. General knowledge of spa operations, inventory, equipment, products, and procedures is required.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be able to lead and to deal well with people. Must possess proficient fitness class teaching skills, and be willing & able to learn more. Must be CPR certified with current recertification. Certifications and memberships necessary in:

ACE – The American Council on Exercise
ACSM – American College of Sports Medicine
AFAA – American Fitness Association of America
AAAI/ISMA- American Aerobic Association International / International Sports Medicine Assoc.
NSAM – National Academy of Sports Medicine
Yoga - Certification to teach
Pilates- Certification to teach

Must be able to choreograph, teach and train Group Exercise Instruction.

Minimum 2 years experience in the Fitness Industry as a certified Group Fitness Instructor and/or Personal Trainer. Must be able to speak, read and write flawless English. Second language a plus.

Must be able to lay prone/supine, stand, sit, jump, skip, hop, balance, swim and perform aerobic, or water exercises for a minimum of 6 hours a day in the course of giving classes or training instructors to give classes. Must be able to push, pull, tug, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. in the preparation of all personal trainings, classes, and hikes. Must be able to lead fitness events in appropriate indoor and outdoor temperatures.


Department: HOTEL FRONT OFFICE
Position: Guest Service Representative (Temporary Full-time) On-Call

“Pay range – Hourly $8.86”

Requires a flexible schedule based on business, client, and staffing demands. Weekends, & Holidays required.

Greets and registers arriving guests at check-in. Handles guest inquiries and addresses any reported problems quickly and efficiently. Keeps guest’s accounts current and documents all room changes. Checks out all departing guests. Communicates necessary information with other staff and departments. Maintains cash banks and issues/closes out safety deposit boxes. Handles all front desk accounting needs.

Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to work well with co-workers and within a “team atmosphere”. Detail oriented, pro-active. Ability to stay calm under pressure; Basic math skills, including percentages. Computer skills.


Department: SPA
Position: Locker Room Attendant (Male) (Temporary, Full-time)

“Pay range – Hourly $8.25”

Requires a flexible schedule based on business, client, and staffing demands. Evenings, Weekends & Holidays required.

Responsible for requesting and stocking all linen, locker room amenities, and supplies as needed; as well as keeping these areas clean.  Assists and directs guests to the proper location to await their treatments.  Distributes keys, lockers, robes, slippers and guest supplies.  Acts as Ambassador / Ambassadress to our guests before and after their treatments.

Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. High School Diploma required. Guest Service experience necessary. Computer facility.

>A minimum of 1 year prior experience in hospitality, spa, or related guest service industry preferred. Must be able to speak, read, and write in flawless English.   Must be able to add, subtract, divide, multiply.

Must be able to read a computer monitor and type on an electronic keyboard while standing. Must be able to repetitively push, pull, tug, lift and carry 50lbs. at a time. Must be able to walk and / or stand at post for 6 to 8 hours per day.


Department: TREATMENT
Position: Esthetician (Temporary Part-time)

“Pay range – Hourly commensurate with experience plus gratuity”

Sundays and some evening shifts. Holidays required.

Responsible for providing Esthetic therapies as set forth in our Spa Menu of Services. In addition to performing esthetic treatments, technicians with Master Esthetician or Cosmetician/ Cosmetologist certification may be trained on other spa body treatments including but not limited to hydrotherapy, body wraps, exfoliation treatments, etc. Analyzes skin to ascertain condition and prepare for treatment therapy. Continual skin assessment to recommend specific product types and or service upgrades. Educates guest throughout steps of treatment and in follow up home care with the retail recommendation.

Must be a licensed Esthetician. A copy of the Esthetician license must be provided for terms of employment. Must have good interpersonal skills. Must be able to prioritize and be multi-tasked. Must possess proficient esthetic therapist/body work skills and be willing & able to learn more. Must be a High School Graduate. Must be a licensed graduate of a 400-600 hours accredited Esthetic program. Experience is desired. Guest service experience necessary. Computer experience necessary. Must be able to speak, read and write English.

Ability to perform a minimum of six hours of consecutive treatments Must be able to stand for a minimum of 6 hours a day in the course of giving treatments or training to give treatments using repetitive motions. Must be able to push, pull, tug, lift, and carry up to 20 lbs. in the preparation of all treatments and training for treatments. The work environment is fast paced, with a high volume of guest, employee, and management interactions.

Must be able to work with steam, aromatherapies, phyto-therapies, nut oils, massage oils and lotions, product mixes, hot stones, cold stones, wet rooms, linens and floral and vegetable materials without allergy or reaction.
